Old Soviet Thrashed Work Coat

Soviet lightweight work coat, reduced almost to its structure by years of wear. The fabric has darkened into a dirty charcoal-brown, heavily faded and stained, with large torn sections, frayed seams and one sleeve largely destroyed.

What remains is the original utilitarian construction — long body, simple lapels, patch pocket, back strap and raw reinforced seams — now distorted by use into something almost sculptural. Deep abrasion, holes, torn panels and uneven discoloration throughout.

The coat was cleaned as carefully as possible, with the original wear and surface character deliberately preserved rather than restored away.

A severely worn piece, but visually very strong — more like an old industrial relic than ordinary workwear.
