Mid-Century Soviet Fencing Mask

$100.00

This Soviet fencing mask carries the severe geometry of an industrial Art Deco object. A sculpted cage of dense steel mesh is framed by faded cotton, exposed stitching and worn internal padding—built for protection, yet now resembling an anonymous mechanical portrait.

The surface is heavily worn, darkened and marked by areas of light oxidation, with frayed edges and old burgundy repairs adding depth to its austere construction. A deeply atmospheric piece of Soviet sporting history, preserved as an archival and decorative object rather than functional protective equipment.
