1990s Swiss Army M91 Mountain Rucksack

This Swiss Army backpack, manufactured in 1990, is made of dense, waterproof rubberized fabric, features a fully adjustable compression system, and a padded back. Its purely utilitarian design—its oversized silhouette, technical straps, and matte olive finish—give it a distinctly industrial look.

Unlike earlier canvas mountaineering backpacks, this version was designed with functionality and weather protection in mind. The material has a dense, almost rubbery texture, while the interior remains clean and very practical. Multiple external attachment points allow the backpack to be expanded or secured depending on the load.

Overall condition is good, with only minor signs of storage and use, such as scratches and scuffs. The hardware and buckles function properly. The beautifully aged surface with minor signs of wear complements the military aesthetic.
