1980s Soviet VVS Flying Camo Jacket

A heavy late-Soviet flight jacket in an unusual camouflage shell, built with the same severe practicality as aviation clothing of the period — warm lining, high collar, metal zips and a compact, protective cut.

What makes this one special is the life written into it. The fabric has been faded, abraded and repeatedly repaired by hand: reinforced areas around the pockets, sleeves and elbow, mismatched stitching, worn edges and old field repairs that have become part of the jacket’s surface. Inside, the original stamps are still present, though almost erased by time and wear.

The result feels less like preserved uniform and more like surviving equipment — dense, scarred, repaired, and still structurally strong.

Please do not expect the garment to be new or in perfect condition; there may be minor defects (used clothing).
