1980s Soviet Army 'Tanker' Jacket

Constructed from exceptionally dense military cotton with a dry, slightly rubberized surface. The original black has eroded into uneven shades of ash, charcoal and dusty grey, while darker pigment remains trapped beneath the collar and inside the folds. Its oversized collar, overlapping front and severe cropped silhouette give the jacket a distinctly Cold War utilitarian form.

Interior fastening points allow a detachable insulated liner to be fitted underneath. Heavily worn archival condition with stains, paint marks, abrasions, faded areas and distressed edges throughout. The density of the fabric remains intact, while decades of field wear have created a surface and patina impossible to reproduce artificially.

Please do not expect the garment to be new or in perfect condition, there may be minor defects (used clothing).
