1980s Soviet 'АСП-74' Life-Saving Belt

A piece of late Cold War survival engineering, designed to keep flight crews afloat after an emergency landing on water. Constructed from heavy blue technical fabric, signal-orange rubberized flotation chambers, industrial webbing, metal hardware and exposed lacing.

One float has been opened, while the second remains sealed inside its original blue pack — the mechanism suspended between activation and silence.

Authentic used condition with stains, embedded dirt, surface wear and a strong rubber smell. The opened float gradually loses air over time but can be easily inflated again. Sold strictly as an archival collectible, not as certified life-saving equipment.
