1980s Schott James Dean A2 Leather Jacket

Regular price $399.00

Part of Schott’s mid-1980s James Dean collection, the JD6 was produced in 1985 in soft lambskin leather as a tribute to Dean’s enduring connection with American youth, rebellion and post-war style. The large illustrated James Dean Foundation lining gives the piece a particularly strong archival character and clearly ties it to the original collection.

The jacket shows heavy, honest age throughout — the lambskin is creased and uneven, with numerous stains, scuffs, darkened areas and surface wear. The interior James Dean label is also visibly soiled from age and use. Rather than feeling restored, the jacket retains a raw, naturally distressed surface that has developed over decades.

A rare Schott piece with a strong 1980s cultural reference, preserved in worn but highly atmospheric condition.
