A heavily worn Soviet industrial work jacket, constructed from dense, dry cotton with a firm, almost moleskin-like surface. Originally black, the fabric has faded unevenly into layers of charcoal, smoke grey and dusty brown.

A nearly erased “K-18” marking remains visible on the sleeve—most likely an internal factory, department or worker designation. Its original meaning has been lost, leaving only a faint trace of the industrial system from which the garment emerged.

The jacket carries extensive authentic wear throughout: paint marks, scattered abrasions, small holes, distressed cuffs, rubbed edges and deeply faded areas. None of these traces feel decorative; they belong to the garment’s working life and give every section of the surface its own density and history.
