Originally made as Soviet ski footwear, these late 1960s–70s boots stand apart through their heavy black leather, broad profile and deeply layered soles. Built with the blunt practicality of early sports equipment, they now resemble severe utilitarian footwear far removed from its original purpose. The leather is creased and scuffed, with dirt, worn edges and aged laces preserving decades of honest use.
