1960s Soviet Army Gymnastyorka

1961 Soviet gymnastyorka, made in the form introduced in 1943. Cut from dense cotton twill in a muted khaki shade, with a standing collar, two chest pockets and original shoulder boards. The dark metal buttons carry the hammer and sickle within a five-pointed star.

Its clean, elongated construction gives the garment a severe and surprisingly contemporary silhouette, allowing it to exist far beyond its original military context.

Excellent overall condition for its age. Some visible staining remains across the back and on the reverse of one sleeve, with light traces of storage and wear throughout.

Please do not expect the garment to be new or in perfect condition; there may be minor defects (used clothing).
