1960s Levi's Big E Safari Jacket

A rare Levi’s Sportswear safari jacket from the 1960s–1970s, cut from sturdy off-white cotton twill with four utility pockets, shoulder epaulettes and the original matching belt. The black-and-gold Levi’s tab places it within the brand’s early sportswear era, when military and travel-inspired silhouettes were becoming part of the wider Levi’s vocabulary.

The fabric has aged beautifully into a warmer ivory tone, with light yellowing in places — most noticeable around the collar — along with subtle surface marks and natural wear. The jacket remains structurally strong and well preserved, retaining a clean, utilitarian shape with a distinctly archival feel.
