1960s British Women's School Blazer

1960s–1970s Beau Brummel school blazer, made in England from a dense midnight-blue wool–cotton blend. A restrained collegiate silhouette with an embroidered heraldic crest and the original owner’s name label hidden inside.

Beautifully worn throughout: in scattered areas the surface has thinned and disappeared almost grain by grain, creating a dry, uneven texture. The deep navy colour, softened construction and traces of former use give the blazer a distinctly dark, archival presence—like a forgotten uniform preserved beyond its institution.
