A fascinating piece of post-war British military history. This British Battledress Blouse was produced in 1952 to the famous 1949 Pattern.

Over its lifetime, the jacket saw extensive use and was carefully repaired many times. Numerous holes and damaged areas were beautifully hand-mended, creating a striking patchwork of visible repairs throughout the garment. A few unrepaired holes still remain, serving as honest reminders of its decades of wear.

The cropped silhouette, dense wool fabric, period insignia, and remarkable repair work make this an exceptional example of British military clothing.

Please do not expect the garment to be new or in perfect condition; there may be minor defects (used clothing).
