1950s US Army Experimental 50-8 Shell Trousers

An obscure pair of U.S. Experimental EX 50-8 Field Shell Trousers, developed in the early 1950s as part of a lightweight layered field system. Cut from olive cotton with a wide silhouette, oversized cargo pockets, external side adjusters secured by a single button, internal suspender buttons and a metal Talon zipper. Closely related in construction to the later M-1951 system.

The condition is generally good, with minimal wear and a few tiny holes.
