1940s Soviet Farmer Work Shirt

Handmade work shirt cut from heavy, coarse linen or hemp cloth, with an uneven homespun texture and deliberately primitive construction. The wide body, gathered neckline and simple fastening suggest a garment made for rural labor rather than formal dress — something produced locally, repaired, worn and kept in use for years.

The cloth carries the dry, almost archaic surface of old utilitarian textiles, with scattered stains and age marks giving it the character of an object pulled from another life rather than preserved as clothing. A severe, almost monastic piece of Soviet rural workwear.

Please do not expect the garment to be new or in perfect condition; there may be minor defects (used clothing).
