The metal buttons are engraved with “Schaerer-Bern”, so the coat may be from Switzerland, but there are no tags inside.
The quality of the material, the wear and tear on the lining and collar, the seams, and the style of the coat all point to this approximate time period.

The wool fabric is pleasant to the touch. It has several stains (on the outside and inside). It is in good vintage condition and can be restored to its former glory. 

Please do not expect the garment to be new or in perfect condition, there may be minor defects (used clothing).
