1940s European Moto Double Breasted Jacket

An exceptional European motorcycle jacket dating most likely to the 1940s. The silhouette is unmistakably early — sharply cropped body, oversized peaked lapels, heavy double-breasted front and beautifully shaped sleeves with an almost sculptural fit. Pieces like this sit somewhere between utilitarian motorcycle wear and old European tailoring, carrying a presence modern jackets simply cannot replicate.

The leather has aged spectacularly over the decades, developing an incredibly rich dry fade with silvered undertones, deep crackling and natural wear throughout the entire surface. The texture and patina are genuinely outstanding in person. Finished with beautiful glossy buttons, wool knit inner lining and rear waist belt detail.

Overall in excellent condition for its age. One pocket has damage/tear inside. The leather itself remains strong, supple and highly wearable with one of the best fades imaginable on a jacket of this era.
