1940s British 'Consulate' Dress Shirt

A lightweight shirt cut from fine white shirting, with a collarless neck and unusually clean, open-front construction. No buttons are present, leaving the front almost architectural in its simplicity.

The fabric shows its age clearly: yellowed staining across the lower front, with several small holes and worn areas around the shoulders and sleeves. Despite the wear, the shirt retains a fragile, austere presence characteristic of early twentieth-century underlayers and formal shirting.

Please do not expect the garment to be new or in perfect condition; there may be minor defects (used clothing).
